Even better, my girl Sharapova finally shrieked and hollered her way into a Grand Slam Final! In her semifinal match she beat the crap out of Amelie Mauresmo, the world #1, 6-0, 4-6, 6-0. Even if you know nothing about tennis, you gotta admit that's a seriously whacked out score. Anyhoo, I think scrappy little Justine Henin-Hardenne will severely dismantle poor lanky ol' Maria this evening (I predict Henin in straight sets), but at least my girl has proven herself worthy of her ranking again. While she consistently makes the SF and QF rounds in every tournament she plays in, a slot in the finals at a major has eluded her since her win at Wimbledon two years ago.* 'Til now, bitches!
