Now, back to VaTech: You know, if any of these hard-assed, gung-ho, I'll-kill-those-mofos right-wingers - strangely, conspicuously absent from the nation's enlistment offices - wishes to "do his/her thing" with the campus shooter, I'll gladly step in my time machine and swap them with one of the dead.

My guess: They'd either shit and/or piss themselves before this kid even drew his guns. Why? Two reasons: Unfamiliarity with being on a college campus and general fear of minorities.

Yeah, tell that to the folks with multiple bullets in them. Here's the thing: Let's assume these classes featured the ideological divisions displayed by greater society. Then, it's safe to assume there were some rabid right-wingers in the seats that day, perhaps people even as cake-brained as people like John Derbyshire. Those people didn't do anything, so this entire shit-for-brains hypothesis is laughable on its face. But wait, THOSE ALIVE NOW TO COMPLAIN would have done something. Christ, if you want to save people that badly from mass casualty situations, volunteer to sniff out IEDs in Iraq. Is there something about hiding behind a keyboard that makes these gutless tools think they're Rambo?
